I was undecided about which chart was better for May Bird theme, so I've stitched both!
This is from an old JCS Ornament issue, and was created by Lori Markovic of La D Da
This is a Blackbird Designs one taken from the "Joyeux Noel" book!
See you in June!

Stitched over 1 on 18 ct. fabric with DMC threads
I finished it with a pretty piece of floral fabric on the back and a bit of store bought satin cording.

I am getting a little slow-- need to catch up. April's Rabbit is stitched but not finished yet. I have everything together to stitch my bird for May but haven't started him yet. DH has been unwell and caring for him and work has taken up a lot of my time but I will catch up.

Snowflakes in the Pines
Platinum Cashel linen
I used the DMC brown that the pattern used, the green that was one shade darker than the one used in the pattern, and the newer off-white, since the ecru just blended right in to the fabric.

This was my April ornament; I forgot to post it!

I finally finished my April ornament. This is called A Christmas Carrot, from an 1990 issue of Country Stitch magazine. I stitched it with the called-for DMC flosses, on marbled DMC aida. The only small change I made was to stitch the inner border with red, so that it would be a bit cheerier.

Here is my April "Rabbit" ornament. The design is from gazette94. I stitched on 16ct Lambswool aida with my chosen DMC threads. The right of this photo is the back of this ornament "Y from Sajou No 324".
I'm a little bit behind I planned..., but I really enjoy stitching for this SAL!
Happy stitching and see you next time...
