First Ornament Finished!!

This is my first post. I'm so glad to join you all. Here is my January Ornie "Noel" from Bent Creek. I know I'm one day late, but better late than never. I have not ironed it yet so there is a crease in the middle. Please excuse my sloppiness.

The border is from It's The Thought That Counts by Gloria and Pat.

I did make minor changes to both charts.

This design is stitched on 18 count white aida with DMC thread #931.

Barbara's ornament for January

I finished the stitching on my January ornament last night. Here is First Moon Colony, by Bent Creek, stitched in my choices of DMC, 1-over-2 on a 40 ct. Silkweaver solo. As much as I'd like to do one for each of our four kids, I think I'm going to start slow. ;)
