Santa's Bunnies

This is my December ornament of Santa's Bunnies by Vermillion Stitchery from the 2000 JCS ornament issue. I completed this this weekend with the recommended threads, on a Smoky Pearl evenweave.

May ornament

This is my finish of Pam Kellogg's Christmas Cardinal from the 2000 issue of JCS Ornaments. We have cardinals at our feeders, and one comes to visit in the mornings, so this is stitched in honor of her.

April rabbit

I finally finished my April ornament. This is called A Christmas Carrot, from an 1990 issue of Country Stitch magazine. I stitched it with the called-for DMC flosses, on marbled DMC aida. The only small change I made was to stitch the inner border with red, so that it would be a bit cheerier.

My March finish

I chose to stitch a lavendar humbug from a recent issue of World of Cross Stitching and topped with hand-dyed ribbon from Vikki Clayton. This is my first humbug, and I love lavendar, so I put a bit of lavendar in it to make it scented.

January House

I have been a member of this SAL for a while, but never posted a photo of this finish. This is a Julia Lucas ornament from a JCS issue. I stitched it two summers ago, finished it in July. It hung on our tree this year for the first time.
