My Fish

It took me a while to find/decide on a fish but I did and just finished it. It's a freebie from the blog http://www.xstitchhappy.com/ . I thought it was especially appropriate for me to stitch because we had a koi pond at our house before this one. I miss watching those fish (they'd eat out of my hand) and listening to the waterfall.

I used DMC variations for the main orange, the greens, and the yellow.

April Ornament

Well I finally managed to stitch my April ornament among all the other stuff I had to do, gardening, planning a wedding and playing with my new grand-daughter (3 mo. old).
I am sure everyone recognizes this pattern from JCS ornament issue.
My May ornament was already stitched unfortunately I left my stitched piece in Florida before coming back to Canada. So I will post it when I return in the fall. I stitched Quaker Nesting Bird from Aury
Well now I am on a roll, on to June.

June ornament

Here is my June "Fruit" ornament. It's not a "Fruit" stitch design but the finished shape is a strawberry, i.e. a "Fruit"! The design is from Aury's blog. Thanks Aury for sharing the pretty design! I stitched on 16ct Antique white aida with my chosen DMC threads.

April Rabbit

I am slow but here is my rabbit. The stitching has been completed for a while, I just haven't had the time to finish him of. This design was a freebie from the chart shop. I just love him. i am working on my May design and maybe with luck I will caught up by the end of June. thanks for looking.

LEE'S JUNE PIECE

I have chosen  for the fruit for my June piece -a wreath of berries. This is a Danish Chart from Eva Rosenstand which I have had for many years and one I enjoy stitching. Have stitched it on 40 count permin linen using one strand of DMC eorked over 2 threads.

May ornament

This is my finish of Pam Kellogg's Christmas Cardinal from the 2000 issue of JCS Ornaments. We have cardinals at our feeders, and one comes to visit in the mornings, so this is stitched in honor of her.

June Fruit

I stitched an apple for the June theme. It's a design of Russian company Riolis.

May ornament

Here is my May "Bird" ornament. The design is from мои творилки. I stitched on 16ct Twilight blue aida with my chosen DMC threads and attached some small white beads on the top.
