A lovely tradition from Germany is the Bride's Tree. It is believed that a couple's Christmas tree needs twelve specific ornaments for happiness in their life journey together.
I've certainly been negligent in posting on my blogs and here as well, but the urge is stonger to be doing other things right now -- stitching for one.
Your stitchery is very beautiful and reminds me of the Fall season. I don't blame you for being away from your blog. Stitching takes a lot of time to do and this one is especially lovely. Aloha!
There are 12 themes for ornaments, and you're welcome to pick your own patterns or borrow an idea from someone else. There are no set patterns, only themes. Click here for a full explanation.
