Workbasket's Quaker Santa ...

... I "abridged" this much larger chart to make my December ornament. I wasn't really crazy about this chart when it was first published a year or two ago. But it has grown on me ... hence this ornament. I'll probably offer the chart in one of my monthly giveaways on my blog, http://oubliette-riona.blogspot.com/ ... the leaflet includes a Quaker Snowman ... I can't see myself stitching the snowman since snowmen are nowhere on my list of favored stitching motifs.
I am a little disappointed in myself inasmuch as I didn't manage to get all 12 ornaments done in 2010. I still have to stitch the November Angel. I didn't really care for any of the Quaker angels I found on-line. Most of the free charts just weren't Quakerish enough for me. I have a very detailed vision of what I want to stitch. I just haven't gotten around to sitting down and plotting out a usable chart. Maybe next month!

I love your Santa.

Don't be disappointed that you didn't stitch all 12 ornaments yet but happy that you stitched 11 of them. THat's quite an accomplishment~

I have yet to stitch the December Santa. He is inmy to do pile and will get done eventually. The set is for my granddaughter's first tree. She isn't even married yet so I guess I have a little time. LOL I love your Quaker Santa. He looks very jolly.
